It all started with a swipe right, and you can say the rest is history. It was an instant match. John planned a very thoughtful first date of ice cream and ramen (Jess just had her tosils removed) and topped the night off with treats for Jess's fur baby, Wrigley. Through the months, the two grew in friendship and love for eachother despite the challenges of busy lives and trying times. John, an Army Officer at Fort Campbell, was often away for training exercises and the demands of company command, while Jess, then pediatric travel nurse, completed assignments in Colorado and Oklahoma before returning to Clarksville. Through new jobs, home purchases, personal injury, a fur baby addition, travels, and adventures, they remained true to one another and have only grown more in love. On December 1st, 2023 John created the most magical Hallmark moment and asked Jess to forever with him. Unsurpisingly, she said YES! The both of them are looking forward to a future together - along with their dogs Wrigley and Ivy - as they open their next chapter in the state of Texas!
